MSCB organises seminar

Manipur State Cooperative Bank conducted a State level seminar on the theme 'Cooperative movement can bring about unity and National integrity', today at GM hall, Imphal under the sponsorship of National Cooperative Union of India, New Delhi.
Functional chief guest K Moses Chalai, IAS, Principal Secretary (Coop), Government of Manipur, during his speech said every movement is based on economic reasons.
A movement can succeed only when it has a strong 'economic meaning' at its backdrop.
Lamenting the decreasing exercise of cooperative movement, Moses said the State can achieve peace and integrity when it is ready to embrace a strong cooperative movement.
The seminar was also attended by Manipur State Cooperative Union president L Tompishak Singh and retired Addl Registrar, Cooperative Societies Manipur Th Manao Singh as president and guest of honour respectively.
The technical/evening session of the seminar was attended by retired RCS Manipur Th Manao Singh, DCO Bishnupur district Kh Tomba Singh and ICM faculty member S Herojit Singh as resource persons.
