Imphal, January 19 2017:
The Alliance for Socialist Unity Kangleipak (ASUK) has banned the 68th Republic Day celebration in the entire WESEA.
However, medical service, media, religious functions, water supply and power supply would be exempted from the ban, conveyed a statement issued by ASUK publicity committee convenor S Mangal.
Following forced enforcement of the Indian Constitution in WESEA since January 26, 1950, the alleged alien rule is being projected as something legitimate.
Even though January 26 is celebrated as Republic Day in other parts of India, people of WESEA who have been aspiring for sovereignty based on liberty, equality and fraternity have been opposing Republic Day celebration in the region, it said.
Through their (Government of India) many policies, the indigenous communities of the region have been divided into multiple fragments and antagonised.
The Government of India has been deliberately sustaining these inter-community (horizontal conflict) while suppressing the Indo-WESEA conflict (vertical conflict) which is driven by a common aspiration to create an independent country, ASUK remarked.
The suppression of Indo-WESEA conflict has only consolidated the Government of India's domination of the region.
The projection of horizontal conflict as principal contradiction is a result of the Government of India's deliberate policy of side-lining the real principal contradiction (Indo-WESEA conflict) .
One cannot transcend the inter-community conflict and enmity until and unless the principal contradiction is resolved, it asserted.
If the indigenous communities of WESEA must establish a progressive society which can fulfil their political aspirations, it is crucial that all the people understand the alleged colonial structure of India.
The juggernaut of alleged Indian colonialism can only be checked by the region's collective strength, added ASUK.
"However, if different communities go on pursuing exclusive politics, it is a forgone conclusion that all of us would be wiped out from the surface of Earth within a decade or two", ASUK warned.
It then called upon all the people of WESEA to stand united and defeat the alleged colonial rule.
The whole concept of India does not cover the people of WESEA who have mongoloid features.
This has been testified time and again by different incidents of harassment of people from WESEA at different metropolitan cities of India.
India is interested in WESEA only for its natural resources and it want to occupy the region so as to render it a captive market and keep it as buffer zone against neighbouring countries.
Moreover, Government of India has been following several covert and overt policies of population invasion and cultural assimilation so as to permanently take over the region, ASUK alleged.
