Training of polling personnel begins at Bpr and Tml

For the smooth conduct of ensuing Lok Sabha Election 2019, the District Election Officer (DEO), Bishnupur, has started 3 days training for polling personnel and micro-observers today at Mini-Secretariat Campus, Bishnupur.
Training for Presiding Officers and Polling Officer-1 were carried out at Panchayat Resource Centre and Multipurpose Hall and that of Micro-Observers was held at Conference Hall.
The training will be carried out till tomorrow.
Training for women Presiding Officers and Polling Officers will be held on March 20 at Conference Hall.
The DEO also organized a series of meetings with District Level Security Co-ordination Committee (DLSCC) to discuss the security situation for the coming election.
Members of DLSCC, officials from BSNL, Excise and Income Tax Department also attended the meeting.
Tamenglong: District Election Office of Tamenglong today conducted the First phase of training for the presiding officers and polling officers of the district for the upcoming 17th Lok Sabha election at Mini Indoor Stadium and DYASO hall, Tamenglong Headquarters.
Paotinsei Kipgen, SDO, Tousem; Namlalalung Gangmei, SDO, Noney; Robertson Asem, SDO, Tamei; Kachamthai Gangmei, SDO, Tamenglong thoroughly explained on how to operate EVMs, VVPAT machines and the counting unit as master trainers to all the polling personnel who attended the training today.
Altogether 274 polling personnel attended the first phase of training.
Handbook containing all the information of election do's and don'ts was also distributed to all the polling personnel who attended the training today.
The first phase of training will be concluded on March 19 .
