IK Muivah bats for children

A mega children drawing competition was organised by Eternal Life Church International today with about 400 children (including differently abled) from different schools with their parents attending the event.
It was organised at Baby Seikam English school, New Checkon by Pastor Rev Dr Lalpi Vaiphei and Asst Pastor SK Luwangngamba in collaboration with Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychiatry, RIMS.
DIG IK Muivah attended as chief guest and handed the prizes to the winners Juliana Thoidingjam, Angelina Ningthoujam and S Katrina in category A.Professor and HOD N Heramani Singh of Clinical Psychology and Psychiatry, RIMS who attended as president handed the prizes to W Dinesh, H Rameshor and L Dayananda in category C.Dy Supt S Touthang attended as guest of honour.
DIG IK Muivah stated that the society need to invest time, energy and wealth in moulding the children.
They need positive recreation for their talents to bloom by having exposure to music, drawings, museum, zoos, excursions, children parks,etc.
Through positive exposure, the children will be focused on their studies and become productive and constructive members of society.
The differently abled children should also be looked after well and encouraged in their development, added the DIG.
