476 trucks head for Imphal

Jiribam, December 07 2016:
Around 476 loaded trucks have left Jiribam with security escorts led by 1st MR CO Themthing Ngasangva this morning while 470 trucks including three oil tankers remain stranded at Jiribam.
Loaded trucks which have proceeded towards Imphal included 189 oil tankers.
They included 43 petrol tankers, 81 diesel tankers, 85 LPG bullet tankers, 10 trucks loaded with ATF, 250 body trucks and one truck loaded with medical oxygen.

Meanwhile, it is reported that loaded trucks stranded at Mao along Imphal-Dimapur have started moving towards Imphal with security escorts tonight.
A late report reaching the office of The Sangai Express said that 20 vehicles have crossed Noney along Imphal-Jiribam highway.
