Imphal, September 07 2015:
The Lok Janashakti Party (LJP), Mani-pur State unit has expressed keen desire for Chief Minister O Ibobi to personally visit and talk with all the people aggrie-ved by the three Bills passed by the Manipur Legislative Assembly on August 31 .
Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club here today, LJP Manipur State unit spokesman Ningombam Ibo-hal remarked that the situation unfolding in the State after the three Bills have been passed is a matter of serious concern.
Pointing out that the death toll in Churachandpur mob violence has reached nine, Ibohal urged the Chief Minister to reach out to the aggriev- ed people instead of waiting for the aggrieved parties to come to the Government for dialogue.
He also lambasted the Chief Minister of Mizoram for meddling with the internal affairs of Manipur by writing to the Centre to reject the three Bills.
He also decried how the Gorkha community openly opposed the three Bills by staging a protest demonstration at Kangpokpi yesterday.
Bihar MP Pappu Yadav who have been expelled from RJD only exposed his criminal tendency when he halted trains and searched for people from Manipur, Ibohal added.
