Many demand annulment of SoO

Women-folk and several organisations held a sit-in protest at Yaiskul today demanding immediate withdrawal of SoO (Suspen-sion of Operation) agreement signed with 'militant groups led by foreigners' .
The protest demonstration was organised jointly by YPO (Young Pioneer Organisation), YVO (Yaiskul Volunteer Organisation), RYO (Rising Youth Organisation) and Apunba Meira Paibi, Yaiskul.
During the protest, Yaiskul Chingakham Leirak Mamang Leikai Meira Paibi secretary Chingakham (ongbi) Jamuna said the Government should scrap the SoO agreement it signed with militant groups led by 'foreigners' .
She said the Government should also identify illegal foreigners staying here and deport them back to their home.
Further peace talk between the Government of India and the militant groups led by foreigners should be stopped.
The womenfolk held various placards that read, "Identify and deport foreigners immediately" and "No to peace talk with foreigners" etc.
They reiterated the claim of the People's Alliance for Peace and Progress Manipur that KNO leaders including PS Haokip, spokesperson Dr Seilen Haokip and ZRA leader Thanglian Pau are foreigners.
