Karam Shyam provides monetary support to two differently abled persons

Langthabal Assembly Constituency MLA Karam Shyam has asserted that Manipur will become a prosperous State when politicians carry out their duties based on humanity and a spirit of unity.
The MLA made the statement during the course of handing over monetary aid to two differently abled individuals today.
It is worth noting that no interest will be charged on the sum handed over to the two persons to help them succeed in their respective professions.
Only the principal sum will be recovered subsequently.
"Reportedly, there are 54,000 differently abled persons in the State.
I cannot help all of them, but today's initiative is my effort to support the hardworking differently abled persons in some tangible way", he maintained.
This morning, the MLA extended monetary aid to Nongmeikapam Suvanko (40) from Samurou Mayai Leikai.
Nongmeikapam Suvanko is presently working as a mobile repair technician using only his right hand and mouth.
His current state is reportedly due to an illness he developed in early childhood.
He expressed his gratitude towards the MLA for his kind gesture.
Following this, the MLA personally visited Thokchom Sarjubala at her residence in Awang Khunou and handed over a sum of money to help her in the construction of a workshed.
Th Sarjubala is a National Awardee artisan and painter.
Speaking in this connection, Th Sarjubala said that she has dedicated her profession to the disabled people of the State.
"It is my firm goal to generate employment for differently abled people", she asserted.
She also extended her gratitude towards the MLA and sought support from the State Government in her endeavours.
The MLA strongly commended the resilence of the two individuals and lauded their efforts in their respective fields.
It may be noted that the MLA had also provided similar monetary support to 140 entrepreneurs in Langthabal AC in the past.
