Stating that holding degree, diploma certificates or winning medals does not necessarily mean quality education, the AMUCO advisor noted that only when education incorporates and succeeds in inculcating national character to students, the objectives of quality education can be accomplished.
While learning text books, students should imbibe the sense of patriotism, diligence and firmness of thought.
R Yangsosong Koireng reiterated that the UNIDEP Campaign was launched on November 18, 2006 to save the indigenous people who are facing a grave
threat to their survival from total disappearance.
Stating that the UNIDEP Campaign also incorporates development programmes,
the AMUCO president informed that in addition to southern Tangkhul region, the UNIDEP Campaign Committee is assisting in similar free coaching camps in three places in hill districts.
