Imphal, December 21 2016:
Asserting that it would be wrong to view all the Naga people as agents/henchmen of UNC/NSCN (IM), the Manipur Naga Revolutionary Front (MNRF) has today stated that there are a lot of Naga people who are against the ongoing economic blockade and NSCN (IM)'s theory of integration.
Underlining the point that all have been living together as 'good and proud citizens' of Manipur, MNRF in a statement issued to the press today stated that the notion of oneness has vanished due to the narrow and selfish games played among the people.

All the harmony and the belief in co-existence has been reduced to venom today, said the outfit and added that the present situation is due to the action of the present set of leaders.
Appealing to all the leaders to reconcile and ensure peaceful co-existence, MNRF said that it would be foolish to let the future generations witness the chaos and violence.
The economic blockade and the counter blockade will not do anything good for the people, said MNRF and added that such moves will only add to the pain and suffering of the people.
Such confrontationist stand will only further deepen the chasm between the hill and valley people, said the outfit and added that it is still 'not too late to rectify the error of the UNC and the economic blockade' .
