Children's day celebration at Ukhrul

Imphal, November 14 2017:
To bring the child in you alive, 27 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) organised various competition on the occasion of Children's Day on 14 Nov 2017 at Ukhrul out post, Wino Bazar.
The competitions were amalgamation of educational, extra co-curricular activities, games, fun and frolic.
The aim of this event was to invite children from various schools to inculcate sportsmanship spirit by means fun and entertainment.

The event was creative, colourful and musical.
From time immemorial, human race has been expressing their ideas by means of drawing and painting.
To promote the talent among budding artists, Assam Rifles organised a drawing competition for children.
To create an atmosphere of entertainment, younger children were given an exciting platform where many fun games such as jalebi race, musical chair, sack race, lemon spoon race etc were organised.
Winners were felicitated and refreshment was provided to children and teachers.
The most unique event for the day was a special 'KNOW YOUR ARMY' exhibition of arms and equipments to motivate the young budding minds to join Armed Forces.
