Imphal, June 08 2022: The State witnessed further decline in Covid active cases as one more person was discharged from home isolation.

Now the State has only two active Covid cases with a recovery rate of 98.45 per cent.

According to Covid Common Control Room, at least 65 samples were tested in the last 24 hours and none of them returned Covid positive.

The number of Covid deaths also remains unchanged at 2,120 .

So far, the State has detected 1,37,241 Covid cases out of which 5,014 are Central security personnel.

Meanwhile, the State distributed 128 D-type and 2 B-type oxygen cylinders to different health facilities in Manipur yesterday.

As per the bulletin, all the Covid beds in JNIMS (100) and RIMS (47) are vacant.

Altogether 2388 Covid vaccine doses were also administered yesterday.

In terms of Covid vaccination, the State has fully vaccinated 52.41 per cent of its eligible population while another 61.90 per cent have received at least 1 dose.
