'Roll-call' begins at Delhi : Bhupender Yadav talks with CM, Biswajit, others separately

BJP National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Bhupender Yadav today held one to one meetings with many Ministers and MLAs of the State's coalition Government led by BJP.
Bhupender Yadav who was recently tasked by the BJP high command to resolve the State Government's internal crisis also held a separate meeting with Chief Minister N Biren.
Sources said Biren and Bhupender discussed about BJP's performance in the Lok Sabha election in the State and how certain coalition partners campaigned against BJP.
It is said that the two did not talk much about change of leadership in the State.
Chief Minister N Biren would come back to Imphal tomorrow to review the drought-like situation seen in the State and take up necessary measures, sources informed.
Before talking with the Chief Minister, Bhupender Yadav held a one to one meeting with RD&PR Minister Th Biswajit at the former's official residence at Delhi at around 8 am today.
During the meeting which lasted for half an hour, Bhupender Yadav collected a detail report on the Government's leadership crisis from Biswajit and also elicited his position on the crisis.
At 8.30 am, the BJP National General Secretary held a separate meeting with Education Minister Th Radheshyam.
Half an hour later, Bhupender Yadav and BJP Manipur Pradesh president K Bhabananda deliberated on the power struggle and ways to resolve it.
This was followed by another one to one meeting between Bhupender and Chief Minister N Biren at 9.30 am which also lasted for half an hour.
Bhupender Yadav had already talked with Speaker Y Khemchand, Deputy Chief Minister Y Joykumar, Agriculture Minister V Hangkhanlian and former BJP State unit president Th Chaoba yesterday on the leadership crisis and how to resolve it.
Y Joykumar came back to Imphal today.
Bhupender Yadav is also likely to hold a separate meeting with LJP Minister Karam Shyam on the coalition Government's internal crisis.
The sources said that Bhupender Yadav is expected to submit a report of his meetings with Chief Minister N Biren, Cabinet Ministers and MLAs of the coalition Government to Union Home Minister and BJP National president Amit Shah.
Based on the report, Amit Shah may take a decision shortly to resolve the crisis, added the sources.
