Active caseload rises to 14

Imphal, June 27 2022:
The State's Covid-19 active caseload has risen to 14 after three residents of Imphal West were confirmed positive out of 30 samples tested during the last 24 hours which implies a positivity rate of 10 per cent.
However, there is neither any report of Covid related death nor recovery or discharge of positive persons.
Nonetheless, the pandemic had already claimed 2120 lives in the State.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the State stands at 1,37,258 (general population 1,32,244 and Central security personnel 5,014) .
This figure includes 14 active cases from general population and 1,35,124 recovered cases (general population 1,30,117 and Central security personnel 5,007) .
The recovery rate is 98.45 per cent.
The cumulative number of Covid vaccine doses administered in the State has reached 29,53,351 (first dose 15,90,286, second dose 12,55,458 and precautionary dose 107,607) .
Till Sunday, 61.96 per cent of the State's total eligible population has received the first dose of Covid vaccine while 53.07 per cent has been given both the first and second dose.
