AMUCO seeks aid

All Manipur United Clubs Organisation (AMUCO) has sought assistance from the general public in providing relief material to Noney fire victims.
The civil society organisation has constituted a relief committee with its President KT Rahman as the Convenor.
In a press conference held at AMUCO office today, KT Rahman said, a devastating fire ravaged shops and houses of 461 persons on April 9 last at Longmai (Noney) of Tamenglong district.
Saying that it is the duty of the people of the State to comfort and console the victims of the fire KT Rahman sought assistance from the general public in providing relief material to the fire victims.
He urged the people of different communities of the State to contribute their bit in extending helping hand to the victim brethren forgetting community and religious differences.
In the past as well, KT Rahman said, AMUCO provided relief material and aid to the victims of Wino Bazar fire, Sajouba landslide and other natural calamities.
