Driver abducted near Kohima

Driver of an oil tanker has reportedly been abducted by unknown gunmen near Nagaland State capital Kohima this morning.
According to an informed source, a convoy of LPG carriers and oil tankers escorted by CRPF personnel started to proceed from Assam's Khatkhati towards Manipur at around 1 am today.
As the vehicles neared Kohima around 4 am, the unknown gunmen stopped and picked up of the driver, whose whereabouts remain unknown till the time of filing this report.
Owner of the oil tanker is said to be from Churachandpur district.
The driverless oil tanker is being guarded by the CRPF men, maintained the source.
Meanwhile, a CRPF official denying report about the driver's abduction, asserted that the said vehicle developed technical snags and had to remain static near Kohima.
