BSEM Chairman clarifies

Imphal, March 21 2013:
Clarifying over the statement that "the subject of Elective English will be removed from the syllabus of Class X under BSEM and Elementary Manipuri will be made compulsory", as attributed to him in some local dailies in the news report published in connection with the closing function of the 10-day long training course on Meetei Mayek organized by MEELAL at Jina Hall yesterday, P Dhanakumar, Chairman of Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) has stated that he has been misquoted by the media and he had never said that.
Dhanakumar attended the said function as Chief Guest.
