CRPF organises inter community peace meeting

Kangpokpi, May 20 2023: An inter community peace meeiing was held on May 18, 2023 at F/69 CRPF Coy location, New Keithelmanbi in; Kangpokpi district.

Eight village heads of Kuki and seven village representatives of Meetei communities participated in the peace dialogue, said a statement by 69 Bn CRPF.

Both the communities were assured peace and togetherness in their area during the meeting which was held in a happy and healthy environment under the chairmanship of Bajrang Lal Commandant 69 Bn CRPF along with Additional SP of Kangpokpi district and OC, New Keithelmanbi Police Station.

While addressing and interacting with both the communities, the Commandant 69 Bn had called for peace and harmony between the communities and also assured them of the regular presence of Police Forces in the areas for their support.

He further appealed for upholding the beautiful principle of "Unity in diversity" .

The Commandant also thanked all participants for coming together to overcome the prevailing problem.

The participant also assured to strive earnestly to develop mutual understanding and trust among each other for a developed and progressive future.
