75th Independance Day celebrated widely

Many celebrated the 75th Independence Day widely in the State on August 15.The High Court of Manipur celebrated the 75th Independence Day at its premises.
On the occasion, PV Sanjay Kumar, Chief Justice of the High Court of Manipur hoisted the National Flag at the High Court premises.
As a part of the celebration, Annual Report 2020 of Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA) was released by P V Sanjay Kumar in the presence of Justice LS Jamir, Justice Kh Nobin Singh (Executive Chairman, MASLSA), Justice MV Muralidaran, Justice A Bimol Singh, senior advocates and other dignitaries, said a press release by MASLSA.
MASLSA also celebrated 75 th Independence Day at the office of Manipur State Legal Services Authority, ADR Centre, Lamphel Court Complex.
Ojesh Mutum, Member Secretary of MASLSA hoisted the tricolor followed by salute & national anthem.
Sorokhaibam Sadananda, deputy member secretary of MASLSA, staff members of MASLSA and police personnel of Lamphel Court Complex attended the function, added the press release.
With patriotic fervour, Sainik School Imphal also celebrated the 75th Independence Day adhering to Covid protocol.
As a part of the celebration, various events were conducted which spanned for a week and the events included a health camp for the staff and their families, vaccination camp, online quiz, debate and recitation competitions were conducted for cadets.
On August 15, the national flag was hoisted by Gp Capt Rajneesh Kumar, Principal and a freedom run was held as a part of the occasion, said a press release issued by Sairiik School.
General Secretary of Communist Party of India, D Raja, marking the 75th Independence Day hoisted the National Flag in the premises of Central Party Headquarters, Ajoy Bhavan on August 15.Atul Kumar Anjaan, Secretary of National Council, Nagendra Nath Ojha, National Executive Member of Comrades, Gulzar Singh Goria, Anil Rajimwale and Krishna Jha and Dr AA Khan, National Council Members and other comrades took part in the flag hoisting ceremony, said a press statement by CPI, Central Office.
"With great enthusiasm and memories we celebrate our Independence Day, a symbol of dedication and sacrifices of our D Raja while hoisting the national flag, added the statement.
