PPCM reaches out to Karang

Imphal, May 09 2020:
As COVID-19 lockdown continues to throw life out of gear all across the State, many organisations including the Protection and Preservation Committee Manipur (PPCM) and individuals are coming forward to provide relief to the people.
The PPCM continued its endeavour to help lock-down affected people at Karang Island, Bishnupur district today.
The committee donated relief materials including rice, potatoes, edible oil, onions and other daily essential items to Karang Island Development Organisation (KIDO) for distribution to locals.
On the sideline of the event, PPCM convenor Jeetendra Ningomba said that the committee has been distributing relief materials to ease the hardship people are facing due to shortage of daily essential commodities, said PPCM convenor.
The committee members also met with Haobijam Kunja, a victim of the recent storm that swept away his house.
The committee assured all possible help to the family.
Others also continued to extend helping at many places.
