Konsam (O) Sanahanbi of Kwakeithel Akham Leikai has rubbished the allegation that she collected Rs 75 lakh from five individuals after convincing them that loans of Rs five crore would be given to them from CorCom.
Speaking to media persons at Manipur Press Club here today, Sanahanbi asked CorCom to produce evidence about the allegation that she collected Rs 91,40,000 from 26 individuals with false promise of ensuring BSc Nursing and MBBS seats and appointment in Health Department, RIMS and Manipur University.
She further appealed to CorCom to investigate the matter thoroughly.
She said that she went to Delhi for some personal reasons.
"I was not hiding", she said.
"I have no connection with CorCom nor any other organisation and I never collected any amount from the people in their names", Sanahanbi added.
