Korungthang joins NPF

As speculated, ex Congress MLA D Korungthang joined the Naga People's Front (NPF), today.
A reception ceremony in honour of Korungthang was held today at Senapati in the presence of general secretary of NPF Central, Achumbeno Kikon and party State unit president Awangbow Newmai among others.
Speaking at the function, D Korungthang stated that certain people and groups depicting NPF which played a key role in forming a stable Government and bringing peace in the State as a 'communal' party is illogical.
He continued that NPF believes in peaceful co-existence and is committed to solve the issues confronting Tengnoupal Constituency.
Awangbow Newmai maintained that NPF is a peace loving party which always keeps its promises.
He claimed that the State is witnessing peace and stability due to the commitment of the NPF.
Further claiming that NPF is not a party which changes its colour randomly, Awangbow maintained that NPF is gaining trust of the people as the party doesn't discriminate.
Outer MP Dr Lorho S Pfoze and former Minister Francis Ngajokpa also spoke at the ceremony.
PHED Minister L Dikho, HAC Chairman MLA K Leishiyo were also present.
