Border area integrated sustainable farming launched

Churachandpur, September 18 2022:
Under Tribal Development Fund (TDF) of NABARD, "Border Area Integrated Sustainable Farming" was launched on Friday at YPA Hall of Singngat Village, Churachandpur District.
The event was organised by Centre for Community Initiative as the Project Implementing Agency (PIA) and was attended by Singhat MLA Chinlunthang Zou as chief guest and NABARD RO general manager Niangkhanvung Guite as guest of honour.
CCI director Pauzagin Tonsing delivered the keynote address and highlighted about TDF project as NABARD Churachandpur DDM Samuel gave an insight and future plan of the project.
In his address, MLA Chinlunthang Zou highlighted about benefits of the project and stated that training, technical and marketing help will be extended to the beneficiaries.
The programme was attended by 170 beneficiaries besides other invitees from DDM, NABARD, Churachandpur, District forest officer, Veterinary & Animal Husbandry director, MSCB Churachandpur branch manager, Churachandpur Rural Aid Services (RAS) and chiefs of 11 villages.
