The Bhutanese North East India Tour Team has kicked started their show at Kohima, Nagaland recently and continues to showcase their performances in almost all the major capitals of the Northeast region, according to Daniel Leivon Lamkang, bureau chief information-Sanjivani Medical Times.
Organised by Sanjivani Medical Times-Northeast India chapter, the tour of the Bhutanese show in Kohima includes traditional tune, enchanting songs presentation, music, dance and choreography and other attractive performances, he said.
Leivon Lamkang disclosed that the tour team is being led by a Bhutanese super star Pema Yankey, who is a very popular actress in that country.
The ideas behind the shows are to globalize the Bhutanese cultures, identities, life style and also to popularize their film industry in the Northeast region, he added.
Daniel Lamkang further disclosed that the main focus is based on fraternal relationship and to promote the Bhutanese traditional costumes/wears, Bhuddist cultures-religion and its traditional attires with the Northeast people of India.
