PLA observes 38th Raising Day

Peoples' Liberation Army (PLA) today observed its 38th Raising Day.
PLA
is the army wing of the proscribed group Revolutionary Peoples' Front
(RPF) which is waging war against the government of India demanding
restoration of the freedom of Manipur.
A press statement made
available to media houses stated that the 38th Raising Day celebration
was observed at the General Head Quarters, PLA, Tactical Command,
Strategic Command, 252 Mobile Battalion, other army unit, departments,
along with its central Bureah, SR-1, SR-2, SR-3 and SR-4.As a part of
the Raising day observance, cadres of the outfit paid salutation to the
party's flag and also to the martyrs who had laid down their lives
fighting for the freedom of Manipur.

The statement said that the cadres of the outfit along with the people fled balloon carrying the outfit's festoon at Central Bureau's divisions 2,4,6,8, and 10 to mark the observance.
President of the RPF Irengbam Chaoren sent message to the people on occasion of the PLA's 38th Raising Day.
The statement said that the outfit want the mass to discuss the presidential speech at which he said that revolutionary movement did not arise from the empty space.
The revolutionary movement is the product of history, identity, culture, politics and economics of the region.
The PLA also appealed the people to ponder upon the concept of education mentioned by the president.
It cautions the people from the policy of the ruling regime at which youths are being diverted from the core issue through education.
The statement further appealed the people to unit all the community who have been living together since time immemorial and to sacrifice for the people .
