MPCC submits memorandum to Indian President for protection of the Integrity of the state

Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) had submitted memorandum for protection of the integrity of the state during his visit here in Imphal yesterday.
Talking to reporters at Congress Bhavan today Opposition leader, Okram Ibobi said that the party welcome the peace initiative for solving of the rebel group however if the solution affect the boundary of the state then the MPCC will not remain quite.
He further said that even if the boundary of the state was not disturb and if anything is content in the agreement to disintegrate in the coming days the congress party can never accept.

Ibobi further demanded the agenda of the NPF to the issue of the NSCN-IM.
he said that the Congress party do not have any problem to go along with all political parties regarding the meeting of the central leadership in connection with the protection of the Manipur's territorial integrity.
He questions the stand of the NPF over the issue of the protection of the territorial boundary of the state.
Ibobi further added that the Congress Party do not have any enmity with the NPF but it is the issue which is more important for the party.
He also asked whether the NPF will signed the memorandum prepare by the all political party which is to be submitted to the leaders of the Central government.
On the other hand Okram Ibobi also appealed the state government to keep their promise in making the state a corruption free.
The press conference was attended by MPCC President TN Haokip, MPCC VP Y Mangibabu and other Congress leaders.
