SDSA condemns attack on NSF leaders

Senapati, April 21 2013:
Con-demning the brutal attack on Naga Students' Federation (NSF) leaders on April 17 by some unknown persons at Sora, under Thoubal district Manipur, the Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA) has demanded those responsible be booked at the earliest possible.
The student body said thatsuch attack on Naga student's leaders is provocative and could lead to communal tension between different communities.
It is an unacceptable and premeditated action of some community to target the Naga student's leaders and the State Government should put all efforts to book and punish the culprits at the earliest, demanded SDSA.
It may be noted that, the apex Naga Students' Federation leaders RS Jollyson, Speaker and Krelo Mao, Secretary Social & Culture were attacked when they were heading towards Chandel to officially dispatch the forthcoming NSF 25th General Conference program to the federating units at Chandel which is to be held at Dimapur from 24th to 27th of April 2013 .
SDSA in another statement also seriously noted the inaction of the State Government to address the kidnapping of young student Alice Kamei by the RPF/PLA.
It stated that, such a case is disturbing to the student community and demanded immediate intervention of the State Govt to ensure safe and immediate release of Alice.
The SDSA also endorsed the action of the Zeliangrong Students to demand the release of Alice.
