Govt and Aided schools in Andro AC do well at HSCLE 2020

Government and Government Aided schools under Andro Assembly Constituency (AC) have set example by recording high pass percentages in this year's High School Leaving Certificate Examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM).
In the recently declared examination result, Moirangpurel High School registered 100 per cent pass record with 67 out of 69 students making the first division cut and the remaining 2 students making themselves in the second division list.
Yambem High School (Aided) too recorded 100 pc pass percentage with 12 out of the total 33 appeared making it to the first division list.
20 were listed in the second division while one student passed in the third division.
Azad Govt Higher Secondary School registered 90 pc pass percentage with 20, 82 and 8 students clearing the examination in the first, second and third division respectively.
118 had appeared in the examinations.
Poireikhongjil Government High School also performed well with 23 students out of total 48 clearing in the first division and 24 in the second division, taking the pass percentage of the school to 98 pc.
Huikap Government High School which was recently upgraded from Junior High School saw 4 out of 13 students make it to the second division list.
A teacher of the Moirangpurel High School, Joy Meitei maintained that the school was a junior high school ten years ago with limited infrastructures and only a few students enrolled.
However, the school witnessed a tremendous change after the former local MLA took pro-active role in upgrading the school to the level of a high school, developing new infrastructures and arranging additional teachers.
The teacher also expressed hope that the school will produce more remarkable results in the years to come.
