LPG : Now discrepancies in the hills too

Although it is generally believed that firewood is the principal fuel for cooking purposes in the hill districts, one Solomom Riamei of Chramram village, Tousem sub-division has been given 12 LPG refills from April till date this year.
As such, discrepancies and irregularities associated with LPG distribution is not confined to the valley districts alone.
Solomom Riamei is a consumer of Thomson Indane Agency located at Tamenglong district headquarters and his consumer number is 613 .
Although Chramram village has no good transport infrastructure whereas Thomson Indane Agency has no home delivery service, Solomon Riamei has already taken 12 refills and subsidy amount of Rs 3447.60 has been transferred to his bank account.
On the other hand, Poramguamliu (consumer no.CX13302930), another consumer of the same distributor has been given only five refills from April till date.
Corresponding subsidy amount of Rs 1360.02 has been transferred to her bank account.
Thomson Indane Agency has around 3681 DBTL consumers and Solomom Riamei is one of the 400 consumers who have been given quite a good number of refills.
Ashok Gupta (consumer no.3918) of Namlalong have been given nine refills and this is the second highest figure as far as the particular distributor is concerned.
He has been given LPG subsidy of Rs 2668.28 through his bank account.
Three other consumers have been given eight refills each, five given seven refills each, 25 given six refills each, 146 given five refills each and 219 consumers have been given four refills each.
Consumers who have been given eight refills each are Chakhuangthai Gonmei (consumer no.CX22126359), Ramjingliu Panmei (consumer no.CX25093378) and Ngambiuliu (consumer no.3220).Although no subsidy amount has entered the bank account of Chakhuangthai, corresponding subsidies have entered respective banks accounts of the other two.
R Job (consumer no.CX25093380), Sangailiu (consumer no.2703), BR Heuraing (consumer no.3342), R Gaigungpou (consumer 3817) and Ari Gangmei (consumer no.586) have been given seven refills each.
Corresponding subsidy amounts of Rs 1754.49, Rs 2045.39, Rs 1904.14 and Rs 1936 have been transferred to respective bank accounts of the first four consumers while no subsidy amount has entered the bank account of Ari Gangmei.
The particular distributor has issued 1836 refills to the 400 consumers from April till date.
