IM leaders in Dimapur

Dimapur, August 13 2011:
"The government of India is serious about the talks," said NSCN-IM general secretary Th Muivah today in Dima-pur.
NSCN-IM chairman Isak Chisi Swu and general secretary Th Muivah arrived in Dimapur today from New Delhi to participate in the 'Nagas' Independence Day' on August 14 and also 'to meet the people' .
Upon their arrival this afternoon at Dimapur airport, Muivah informed newspersons that besides participating in the 'Nagas' Independence Day' they are here to consult with the people on the ongoing peace talk with New Delhi.
Muivah said the government of India is serious about the talks.
"We will carry out a wide consultation with the people during our stay here regarding the talks," said Th Muivah.
The two NSCN-IM leaders will also update about the ongoing talks to the people.
It is pertinent to mention that few days ago the NSCN-IM had stated that the talk was in the right direction.
"Rest assured that the present Indo-Naga political talk is in the right track.
It is going on in the spirit of shared sovereignty' and 'unique identity with inter �dependence relationship", stated the press communique from the NSCN-IM's ministry of information and publicity.
