3 youths found killed, bodies condemn

Senapati, August 10 2015:
Three youths including a teenager were found shot dead at Vahki, near Purul along the Lakhamai road under Purul subdivision in Senapati district today.
Police said one of the bodies was found under a bush along the roadside by passers-by early today morning.
Two other highly decomposed bodies were found near the place later.
All the three bodies bore bullet marks.
Their heads were almost blown off.
Two of them were found blindfolded.
Later, the bodies were identified as Francis (25) s/o Seisou of Phaibung village, Veraizii (18) s/o Kh Sow of Upper Koide and Sapunii John (30) s/o Sapunii of Liyai village.
Police suspected that they might have been killed a couple of days back.
Sources also said that all of them were picked by unidentified gunmen from their houses afew weeks back.
No armed groups have claimed responsibility for the killing so far.
The bodies were retrieved by Senapati and Tadubi police.
Post mortem examination was conducted at Senapati hospital today.
At the same time, the Naga People's Organisation (NPO) has vehemently condemned the killing of the three youths.
In a statement, NPO demanded booking of the perpetrators while also extending solidarity to the bereaved families.
Condemning the killing, Purul Union, in a statement said that any attempt to tarnish the image of the Purul people by committing such barbaric act in its area will not be tolerated.
PU president Thomas Taishya demanded immediate clarification from the group/individuals responsible for the killing.
