CM reviews works taken up under 100 days programme

Imphal, June 06 2017:
To ensure timely completion of various developmental projects taken up by different Government Departments under the 100 days action plan programme, a review meeting was held today at CM Secretariat chaired by Chief Minister N Biren Singh.
The meeting discussed the status and progress of the various developmental projects .
Biren instructed that the already identified developmental works should be completed on time.
He also asked all the Secretaries and Heads of Departments to submit the progress report of the development works on a daily basis to his office.
Action plan taken up under the 100 days programme include, among others, to provide free wi-fi in public areas, connecting District Headquarters under SWAN to enable video conferencing facilities, Jeewan Praman for Pensioners, launching of Manipur Journalist Board, medical insurance schemes for Journalists of the State etc.
Later, a review meeting on action plan taken up under the "State Mission on Employment, Drinking Water and Housing for All by 2022" was also held.
Cabinet Ministers Y Joykumar Singh, Th Biswajit, L Jayantakumar Singh, Th Radheshyam, Nemcha Kipgen, Th Shyamkumar, N Kayasii, Additional Chief Secretary Shambhu Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Suresh Babu, Additional Chief Secretary Dr Suhel Akthar, Secretaries, Commissioners and Heads of Departments of various Departments attended the review meeting.
The BJP led Government was sworn in on March 15 .
