At about 1 pm while addressing a road side meeting at Ningthoukhong, some policemen came and inquired if he had the necessary permission, said Dorendro.
I showed the policemen the official permit for holding the meeting, said Dorendro and added that shortly after this Govindas Konthoujam came to the spot along with this security escort and said that the public meeting could not be held there.
When I said that I have the necessary permit to hold the meeting, Govindas threatened me, alleged the intending BJP candidate and added that the microphone was also damaged by the Minister.
On top of this, a supporter of Govindas pulled me down from the mini trucks and threatened to kill me, alleged Dorendro further.
Another BJP worker, an elderly man of 65 was also pulled down from the mini truck and he sustained injuries on his right arm, added Dorendro.
In future if there is any attack on me, be assured it will be from Govindas and his cronies, he further declared.
