Imphal, June 03 2016 :
The tribal organisations in Manipur are all prepared to respond strongly to the Manipur Government's move on the three Bills.
Publicity wing of the United Naga Council (UNC) informed Newmai News Network this evening that a "serious"meeting of the tribal leaders was held today in Churachandpur on the three Bills wherein a decision was taken to resort to "drastic form of response" to the Manipur Government.
"The tribal people will announce the nature of agitation any day," said the UNC publicity wing.
Any unwanted incident that may arise out of the tribal agitation will be the responsibility of the State Government, added the publicity wing of the UNC.
It warned that the "response" of the tribal people to Manipur Government will be "explosive this time" .
According to the Naga body, the three Bills are anti-tribal as well as anti-National.
It stated that bureaucrats, businessmen and labourers from "mainland India" are feeling very "insecure" now in the Manipur valley.
It alleged that the so called all political party delegation that had left Imphal for New Delhi today to meet the Central leaders is working only "in the interest of one community.
"The Government of India should be aware of the evil design of this so called all party delegation," it cautioned while threatening to take up drastic measures in case the Central Government pays heed to this "all-party" delegation.
"This delegation represents the interest of only one community so the Government of India should understand the situation," the UNC publicity wing alleged.
