NSUC re-imposes 'student curfew'

Imphal, July 14 2022:
While congratulating all the candidates who have cleared the HLSC, HSSLC and UPSC civil services exam (prelims), Naga Students' Union Chandel (NSUC) has informed that it has decided to re-impose the 'Student Curfew' which was enforced in the previous tenure of NSUC in 2017-2022 from 8 pm to 5 am for the welfare of the student community and in order to prevent school and college going students from loitering around after dusk without any reason.
In a release, NSUC Information Cell urged the civil populace of Chandel to extend cooperation in this regard and also informed that it will take follow up measures and monitor activities of non-locals within NSUC jurisdiction, A felicitation programme for the two elected MLAs of Chandel and Tengnoupal assembly constituencies cum meritorious award distribution for students of class 10+2 of 2022 and candidates who had cleared civil services exam prelims conducted by UPSC will also be organised, it mentioned, while adding that the programme wifi be organised soon after the CBSE 10+2 2022 result is declared.
NSUC also conveyed that it will stop admission of bogus students who get selected in JNV class VI Entrance Exam 2022 with false documents and take strict action against those schools which issue the false certificates to the students.
