Myanmarese trio held with fake Aadhaar cards

Imphal, September 28 2022:
A team of Kakching District Commando stationed at Sugnu Outpost apprehended three Myanmarese nationals with fake Aadhaar cards on Tuesday.
According to a report, the outpost team conducted a checking and frisking operation at Sugnu Khongnangkhong around 5 pm on Tuesday.
During the checking, a Tata Sumo coming from Serou was halted and its passengers checked.
Three Myanmarese nationals travelling in the vehicle were apprehended with fake Aadhaar cards as well as their Myanmarese identity cards.
They have been identified as Khaikhenmung (30) s/o Ginkhanchin, Thongkapthang (30) s/o (L) Khamsuankap and a 16-year-old.All three hailed from Kalemyo in Kale district, Myanmar.
The fake Aadhaar cards stated their addresses as Vengnuam Village and Mongken village in Churachandpur district.
The trio had boarded the Tata Sumu from T Nampao village, Chandel district to go to Churachandpur district.
All three have been handed over to Sungu PS for initiating further course of legal action, the report conveyed.
