Imphal, September 30 2021: Banglabung COB of 44 Assam Rifles of 22 Sector IGAR (East) on Thursday reached out to the youth of Gelnel village during which the Company commander addressed them on various career options available at various stages of educational qualification.

According to PIB (Defence) Imphal, the unit reached out to youngsters through the village clubs for spreading awareness on entrance exam for Sainik School, Pangei.

Information regarding registration, preparation and conduct of the exam was also shared with the participants.

Numerous entries available to get officer commission in Indian Army were also shared with the attendees.

Information on forthcoming Assam Rifles/SSB rally was also shared by the company commander.

Approximately 40 students including girls participated in the one day program, the PIB informed.
