Hiyanglam CPI holds 39th annual conference

Imphal, January 24 2022:
CPI Hiyanglam Local Council held its 39th annual conference at the residence of its leader namely Yaiskul in Hiyanglam on Sunday.
In all, 100 delegates attended the conference, wherein party's state secretary L Sotinkumar accused the ruling BJP government of over-indulging in privatisation of the economy, while disregarding the sentiments of the people.
During the conference, several resolutions were adopted including steps to be taken up by CPI to defeat BJP in the upcoming polls, improving the conditions of Hiyanglam AC, delivery of NFSA benefits to the deserving beneficiaries, and distribution of pension to citizens who are above 60 years of age.
Later, a 15-member council for the new term was elected, with Rajmohon as local secretary.
