IRCS seeks Governor's intervention

With two units of Indian Red Cross Society (ICRS), Manipur state headed by different people emerging in the state of late, vice chairman of IRCS Imphal district branch Khundongbam Jadu has appealed to the Governor who is the president of Indian Red Cross Society, Manipur State branch to intervene and resolve the matter.
Addressing media persons at its Kwakeithel office, here, on Monday, Jadu stated that IRCS, Manipur state branch has been found divided into two, one with Governor as the president and the other registered under a trust.
Terming the issue as unfortunate and could constrict the people's voluntary movement, he drew the Governor's attention to intervene and look into the matter and ensure that such unwanted things do not happen.
