Assam Rifles units conduct lectures

Phundrei Battalion of IGAR (South) organised motivational lecture for youth to join Indian Army and Assam Rifles at Kakching Khunou village in Kakching district to educate and create awareness among local youth to join Indian Army/Assam Rifles.
The lecture was pivoted around assisting and providing guidance along with motivating the youth to make appropriate choice as per their interest and potential, said a PRO IGAR (S) release, adding that the participants numbering 29 youths were satisfied with the response and expressed their enthusiasm to join armed forces.
Meanwhile, Mantripukhri Battalion organised a lecture on nation building at Leishamba Maheikol School, Chingarel Tejpur in Imphal East district on Monday to instill upon the young minds the sense of progressive thoughts about building a stable and viable state/nation by broadening their horizon in all spheres of life.
The youth were told about the important role that they must play in nation building, as development of a nation remains in the hands of its future generation, the PRO said in a release, adding that a total 146 students from class 8 to 12 attended the lecture.
