AMPA felicitates its president Surjit

Imphal, October 13 2021:
All Manipur Press Association (AMPA) on Wednesday felicitated its president Senjam Surjit, who has been elected as vice-president (East) of All India Federation of Master Printers for the term 2021-22.BSEM chairman Akham Joykumar and AMPA chief advisor Dr L Kumar attended the event held at Manipur Press Club as chief guest and president respectively while BSEM secretary Dr L Mangijao and AMWJU former president Bijoy Kakchingtabam were present as guests of honour.
Addressing the gathering, Joykumar said that the special quality and dedicated works of Senjam Surjit could be the reason behind his appointment as vice-president of the national body.
He stressed the need for improving the standard of printing press and avoid mistakes as far as possible to deliver quality products.
Surjit thanked AMPA for the felicitation and said that next to Assam, Manipur has become the second most developed state in the north east in terms of printing infrastructure.
A trade fair in relation with printing technologies will be held in Imphal next year, he revealed.
