Lanjing Purel of Sana Konung no more

Imphal, May 11 2021:
Lanjing Purel of Sana Konung (royal palace) Mutum Arunkumar passed away on Tuesday after fighting for his life for nearly two weeks at RIMS hospital.
He was admitted to RIMS hospital on April 29 after testing positive for Covid-19 .
His sample was found negative on Monday but he died of severe lung infection on Tuesday around 8.30 am.
In a statement, Utra Shanglen informed that Arunkumar was a key official of Sana Konung, who is well-versed in Thang-Ta.
A condolence meet was held at Utra Shanglen with titular king Leishemba Sanajaoba in the chair and the meet was attended virtually by officials of Sana Konung and Utra Shanglen.
Customary and religious rites of the departed soul were also held later.
Leishemba Sanajaoba recounted the contributions made by the late official and shared the grief and pain of the bereaved family, the statement said.
Thang-Ta Loishang Sana Konung has also condoled the demise of Arunkumar.
Lauding his contributions towards promotion of Thang-Ta, a statement of the Loishang prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace and shared the pains of the bereaved family.
KIMACS also condoled the demise of Arunkumar.
