GC CRPF Imphal gets upgraded Badminton court

Imphal, June 14 2021: Randeep Datta, IGP, CRPF, Manipur and Nagaland Sector inaugurated 'Upgraded Badminton Court of Group Centre, CRPF' today.

The Badminton court has been upgraded with Synthetic Yonex mat.

An inaugural match was played between Miss Isha Datta, daughter of Randeep > Datta and Mrs Kim Koreng, w/o SR Koreng of GC, CRPF, Agartala.

Miss Isha Datta won the match.

Randeep Datta in his inaugural speech encouraged and emphasised all officers, subordinate officers and jawans and their families to participate in sports to keep themselves fit and healthy and utilize upgraded Badminton Court fir the purpose, He also said that 'Fitoess has always been an integral part of our culture.

But there is different attitude towards fitness issues now a days.

A few decades ago, a normal person walk 8-10 kms in a day, do cycling or run.

But due to technology, physical activity has reduced up to a great extent and we walked very less now.

The relationship of success and fitoess is also interlinked and most successful people are fit.

He emphasised all officers, sub-ordinate officers, jawans and their family members to use newly upgraded Badminton Court and play game to keep them fit.
