NMBA lecture, Youth exchange prog held

Kamjong Battalion of IGAR (South) conducted lecture on physical and mental health awareness and interaction programme for local villagers of Aishi and Khampat Khullen villages as part of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) on Saturday.
According to PRO IGAR (S), the programme organised to create awareness among the local villagers on physical and mental health emphasised on various strategies including staying active, practising self-care and healthy lifestyle.
Meanwhile, Mantripukhri Battalion of IGAR (South) organised a youth exchange programme in collaboration with Lions Club of Manipur at Silheipung in Imphal East district on Saturday which was attended by total of 120 youths from Manipur, Nagaland, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh including college and school students.
A series of lectures and a career counselling session were held.
The youth were excited to interact with the Assam Ri fles and thanked them for answering all their questions with enthusiasm and zeal, said the PRO, adding that the programme concluded with weapons display and refreshments for all attendees.
