Medical assessment camp conducted

Kakching, December 01 2021:
In order to distribute aids and assistive devices to the differently-abled persons and senior citizens under the ADIP and RVY schemes, a medical assessment camp was held at Langmeidong Dramatic Union Hall on Wednesday.
The camp organised by Social Welfare Department, Disability Cell and District Social Welfare Office, Kakching along with Hiyanglam AC MLA Dr Radheshyam Yumnam and Artificial Limb Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), Guwahati was attended by Dr Radheshyam, Waikhong Zilla Parishad member Chongtham Indrajit and ALIMCO PNO officer Pangambam Lenin among others.
Speaking on the occasion, Lenin explained about the AIDP and RVY schemes to the gathering while Dr Radheshyam informed that the aids and assistive devices will be distributed free of cost after the assessment.
The MLA also assured more such government schemes for the benefit of the people of Hiyanglam constituency.
