State observes Sadhbhavana Diwas

To mark the 77th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister (late) Rajiv Gandhi, the government of Manipur observed Sadbha-vana Diwas or Harmony Day at Old Secretariat Conference Hall, here on Thursday.
As part of the observance, Sadbhavana (harmony) pledge was administered by chief secretary Rajesh Kumar to exhort those present to promote national integration and communal harmony among people of all religions and languages.
Being the youngest Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi's thought process was modern and different from others.
He had the vision of a developed nation and initiated many national as well as international projects.
The observance was attended by high ranking civil and police officials of the state government and other dignitaries.
