Imphal, July 08 2021:
The Ministry reshuffle under the aegis of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not in the interest of the people of the country hit worst by COVID-19 pandemic but to retain the powerof'Saffron Party' in the upcoming General Assembly Elections of 5 States in 2022 and the Lok Sabha Election in 2024.Manipur State Council, Communist Party of India (MSC/CPI) made the above statement in a press release issued today.
The step of reshuffling the representatives of minority classes in yesterday's Union Cabinet reshuffle is to fragment the said classes and invoke disunity among them, added the statement.
MSC/CPI maintained that it is quite evident that BJP wants to retain its power in the upcoming General Assembly Election of Uttar Pradesh by inducting an MP from Uttar Pradesh in the Union Cabinet yesterday.
Forcing the Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan to resign on the grounds of inefficient management in tackling the COVID-19 pandemic however if the matter is examined thoroughly, then the Prime Minister who is the chairman of National Disaster Management Authority should resign who is also responsible for the receding economy of the country owing to his dictatorship nature, continued the statement.
Taking a dig at the incompetent leadership of Narendra Modi led Government, MSC/CPI enumerated various reasons in context with the grim situation of COVID-19 pandemic and the economical chaos in the country.
Thus MSC/CPI opined that the privatisation measures against the general masses and Neo Liberal Economic Policies should be withdrawn at the earliest by the Government in order to bring a change and strive for a developed economy and the Government should also address the grievances of the people.
