JDU president to visit state today

Imphal, October 07 2021:
In connection with the upcoming Manipur Legislative Assembly elections sfated for earlv 2022, leaders of Janata Dal (United) led by its national president and Lok Sabha MP Rajeev Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh would arrive here on Friday on a three-day state visit.
According to JDU office secretary Mohammad Nisar, the high-level delegation will also include secretary generals KC Tyagi, Afaque Ahmad Khan, and MP RP Mandal.
The latter is also party's Manipur in-charge.
During their stay, the party's central delegates will hold talks on organisational matters.
"This is a very important visit of national president to the state after his recent visit to Kashmir.
JDU has a strong base at ground level in different states and now the objective is to expand and add more dimensions to its structure," added the office secretary in a release.
