Manipur Panchayat Parishad petitions PM

Representatives of Manipur State Panchayat Parishad, on Thursday, submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister's Office highlighting various demands including release of pending funds.
According to Manipur State Panchayat Parishad president Md Latif, who is currently in New Delhi, the association decided to submit the memorandum after their demands for release of pending liabilities under MGNREGA for the year 2021-22 before January 31, 2023 and conducting the 6th Panchayat Election evoked no positive response from the state government.
Another memorandum mentioning the same demands has also been submitted to Union minister of state for education and external affairs RK Ranjan, Md Latif informed, adding that it will also call on Union minister for RD and PR and Rajya Sabha MP Leisemba Sanajaoba.
