Thoubal, August 28 2021: A one-day reproductive child health camp cum COVID-19 vaccination drive was organised by District Health Society Thoubal on Saturday at Hangamthabi community hall.

Speaking at the inauguration programme, CMO (Thoubal) Dr Y Nokul Singh informed that the reproductive child health camp was organised to facilitate health check up of mothers and child as well as encourage vaccination of the unvaccinated public, routine immunization, health check-up, provide diagnostic facilities and medicine to the patients and general population.

District programme manager Ch Basanta Singh, medical officer in-charge of PHC Lilong Dr Md Farooque Sheikh and other medical officers and paramedical staff of Primary Health Centre Lilong took active part in the camp.

Altogether 154 people attended the health camp.

Similar reproductive child health camps and Covid-19 vaccination, programmes will be organised at Ngangou Bazar Lilong Haoreibi on August 31, Mina Bazar Moijing on September 2, Sangaiyumpham on September 4 and Phundrei on September 6 .
